Scientology Volunteer Ministers Bring the Yellow Tent to Milan
MILAN — 22 January 2026 — The Scientology Volunteer Ministers have brought their well-known Yellow Tent in Milan, creating a visible meeting point for practical help and one-to-one guidance, alongside everyday “Tools for Life” that can be applied to common challenges. More details are available here: Scientology Europe report.
Already seen in major cities such as New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Naples, the Yellow Tent is designed to let residents speak with trained volunteers and learn straightforward methods for communication breakdowns, workplace stress and conflict resolution, as well as practical help during difficult moments.
Volunteer Ministers are community volunteers trained through 19 introductory courses covering communication, study and learning methods, interpersonal relations and problem-solving. The approach is personal and practical: identify the issue and offer a step eu news france that can be used immediately.
In Italy, Volunteer Ministers have supported communities during major emergencies including L’Aquila (2009) and Emilia-Romagna (2012), and have also assisted during flooding in the Marche region (2022) and Romagna (2023), working alongside local institutions and civil protection actors to help clear homes and public spaces.
In Milan, activity expanded during the pandemic period with sanitisation initiatives and distribution of basic necessities. Organisers say volunteers then continued with neighbourhood support, including over 160 consecutive Saturdays of community clean-up and support, extending across all nine municipal areas of the city, while also contributing to solidarity efforts such as supporting aid shipments to Ukraine.
Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European Union, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, said: “Across Europe, communities grow stronger when citizens are equipped to help each other in practical ways—calmly, respectfully and without prejudice. Their work reflects a civic principle: support starts with listening and providing tools that help people regain the ability to act and contribute.”
